Director, First Racquet NGO (Austin)
Giving back through tennis has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I founded and led the Austin branch of an international tennis nonprofit. I have organized successful tournaments with multiple draws of young kids eager to play for the charity.
Impact: We gathered boxes of rackets, shoes, clothing, strings, and balls, raising over $2500 and collecting 300+ tennis equipment donations for underserved youth in Angola, Africa. Whether I'm coordinating volunteers or sorting gear, I'm reminded that small actions can have a big impact when done with purpose.
Community Service Initiatives
- National Junior Honor Society: Completed 80+ volunteer hours through school community service initiatives.
- Senior Care Volunteer: Provided support and companionship at The Waterford at Round Rock (2020-2023).
- Boy Scouts / Cub Scouts: Long-term commitment to community service and outdoor leadership (2013-2020).
